Springfield Farm is a seventeenth generation family farm in Sparks, Maryland. Since 2000, the farm has been cared for by three generations of the Smith family. David and Lilly Smith began farming with a flock of chickens, and now the farm is managed by their eldest daughter, Catherine Simpson, her daughter, Rachel Webb, and Rachel's fiancé, Parker Koppelman. We take pride in utilizing farming practices that focus on regenerative land management, humane animal husbandry, and providing nutrient dense food to our local community. We know that sustainable farming creates products that are better for our land, our livestock and our customers.
